Making Great Wine At Home

Make World-Class Wine at home anytime of year with our winning combination: Brehm brand Frozen Red and White musts shipped direclty to your door via UPS anytime of year & Free MoreWine! downloadable guides on every aspect of winemaking.

Problem:  You want to make commercial quality wine at home.  Really good, flavorful wine like what you can buy at the store.  Kit wines are really easy (check out or Kit Wine Selection) but the quality is usually not up to par with the average $5-10 bottle of commercial wine (in our honest opinion).  Kit winemaking can be compared to following a recipe for canned soup, there really is no learning or creative input.  Making wine from grapes on the other hand is the do-it-from-scratch alternative. You learn about wine and winemaking tremendously and the potential to make really high-quality wine is there for the taking. But at the same time there is far more opportunity to mess it up yourself because you are not following a kit.  Two of the biggest problems we see in homewinemaking is 1) Not starting with high quality fruit. 2) Not following a diligent plan and not taking care of the wine post-fermentation.

If you cannot tell - Our passion is winemaking from grapes!  Our mission is to make it easier to make from grapes by offering:
1) World Class wine grapes/juice in a frozen format that is shipped to your door and...
2) To provide all the detailed instructions you need to make the process simpler.  What we don't do is to dumb it down.  Winemaking is a fairly involved, although highly rewarding, hobby.

Why Using Frozen Fruit is Such a Good Idea:

  • Year Around Winemaking: You can make high-quality wine from grapes any time of year - make wine all year!
  • Simple Winemaking Using Grapes: If you are a Kit Winemaker you can finally dive into the art of making wine from grapes. Use ourfree,  comprehensive manuals to guide you through the process.
  • World Class Fruit: Brehm frozen must and juice are sourced from World Class vineyards and better than what most home winemakers have access to. Make the wine you know you can!
  • Freezing is a Benefit: Preserved perfectly at the peak of ripeness, reduced microbial action due to freezing, built in cold soak.
  • Save Time & Equipment: Whites are already destemmed, crushed and settled so no crusher or press is needed. Reds are already destemmed and crushed, so only a press is needed.
  • Easier: The numbers are already given to you including pH, TA and Brix saving you time, money and hassle and allowing you to be a better winemaker.

Packaging Size of Frozen Fruit (6 Gallon Pail)

  • Reds:  Five gallons of must will make approximately 3 to 3.5 gallons of wine.
  • Whites:  5.5 Gallons of frozen Juice will yield approximately 5 gallons of wine.
