We offer two basic types of Press for the home winemaker, Hydraulic Bladder Presses and Ratchet-Style Basket Presses. The Basket Presses are available in wood & painted steel or all stainless construction, and are the more economical style of press. These are great for most small scale home winemakers. The Bladder Presses offer the winemaker more control over the pressing operation and achieve a more even pressing, all while being faster. They are generally regarded as a gentler press as well. These are appropriate for winemakers who are working on a larger scale or are focused on producing the highest quality wine possible.
