This is the same fruit as the other Brehm Chardonnay (BF182A) but picked two weeks later. Thus the starting brix are higher, 23.5 brix instead of 21.5 brix on the BF182A. If you could talk with Peter he would tell you that the BF182A is a greater value and still makes a wine with 12% alcohol because of the glucose/fructose balance. However many of us our looking for a 13% alcohol Chardonnay and the potential for a little more mouthfeel that this higher brix harvest would bring.
