The Kreyer PH45 fan unit is perfect for small cellars. Maintain either a small barrel cellar, a tasting room or office space, or a personal collection of wines. Connect to one of our small compact glycol cooling machines for an easy to manage Do-It-Yourself cooling system.
The Basic Set-Up:
First we recommend a Cooling Machine, often called a Glycol System, that will work for your application. Normally the Cooling Machine is placed outside under a shade structure. A loop of line is run from the Cooling Machine to the fan unit. Cold water or water/glycol mix (cooling fluid) exits the cooling machine and flows through coils in the fan unit. The fan blows air over the coils, which transfers heat from the room to the cooling fluid. The now warmed cooling fluid exits the fan unit and returns to the Cooling Machine.
More About the PH unit
This is a fully enclosed unit that includes the fan, coils, fins, temperature regulating controller and automatic solenoid valve. All you do is plug it into your glycol system. It has a digital read out control panel and even comes with a remote.
It can be used to cool a well insulated space up to 21,000 cubic feet.
