Speidel TS Style Thermowell Installation Options
In addition to the standard TM-140E thermometer & themowell option, Speidel offers a wide range of options when it comes to monitoring the temperature inside your Custom Tanks. Speidel recognizes that the modern winery is monitoring their tank temperatures electronicall, and that a clean, uniform and un-cluttered installation is essential to an efficient workspace, as well as aesthetically desirable. To that end, they make it an option to install either threaded DIN fittings to mount a thermowell to, or to punch 13mm or 18mm (1/2" or 3/4") holes to accommodate the installation of a weldless thermowell or Kreyer FermFix unit, in a variety of convenient and efficient locations on the tank.
The type and position of the temperature fitting are denoted by the part number.
Position Options:
TS1 - Front Left of Tank, next to Sight Gauge (Not for 900x1400 or 1100x1600 mm Rectangular Tanks)
TS2 - Center Back of Tank
TS3 - Offset 45deg Left from the Rear of the Tank
TS4 - Front of the Right Side Tank Wall (For Rectangular Tanks with Jacket Connections in position C1-C4)
TS5 - Rear of the Right Side Tank Wall (For Rectangular Tanks with Jacket Connections in position C5-C8)
TS6 - Front Right of Tank, next to Sight Gauge, with Sight Gauge offset to the left (Not for 900x1400 or 1100x1600 mm Rectangular Tanks)
TS7 - Front Right of Tank, next to Sight Gauge, with Sight Gauge in Standard Position
Fitting Type Options:
TS_A - Male DIN10 Threaded Fitting
TS_B - Punch 13mm hole for Weldless Thermowell
TS_C - Punch 18mm hole for Weldless Thermowell
TS_D - Male DIN20 Threaded Fitting
Example: TS2B = Punch 13mm hole for Weldless Thermowell at Center Back of Tank.
