Used for fermenting, this smaller 3 gallon glass carboy is great for meads, or splitting up batches.  Our glass carboy fermentors are easy to keep clean, and are made of thick, high quality lead-free glass.

Many flaws in the glass
This has held up for one session of primary, but I realized that there are a handful bubbles and such in the glass at various points, which makes me very nervous to use it again. It's a real bummer to invest in a larger carboy for the first time, but then to just have it taking up space because I feel like I can't trust it to not fail mid-brew in the future.

Easier to handle
I have the 5 Gallon carboys and the 3 gallons are easier to manage. The carboys are a thick glass to with a little care that don't seem to crack or break.
