Brown and dark green are commonly used for reds to protect them from light during long storage periods, while light green and flint are most often used only for white wines that will be consumed much sooner after bottling.

Gets the Job Done

I’ve been having issues trying to find a supplier of bottles for my tiny, garage operation. Most companies need me to order a minimum amount that will take care of me for the next ten years but seriously denting the pocket book now in getting them.

These bottles are used for our sangiovese/cab franc/cab Sauv-blend rosato. They arrived in three days, they display the color of our rosato brilliantly, none of them arrived broken, and most importantly, they didn’t break the bank. Could they have been fancier? Sure… but we don’t need them looking like Miraval.

In a time when supply is a little hard to come by, these are totally worth the price in my opinion.
