Description
  • Our Brown Ale has a firm, but not overwhelming, bitterness with lots of Cascade hop flavor in the finish
  • Includes Northern Brewer and Cascade hops
  • Estimated ABV: 4.9%
  • Estimated IBUs: 48-51
  • Makes 5 gallons of finished beer

An American variation of a Brown Ale that has medium body with lots of Cascade hops in the finish. Pete's Wicked Ale defined the style. A combination of many flavors.

Extremely meh
This beer can't decide whether it wants to be a brown ale or an IPA. It was $20 for the kit (on sale) and nice to drink but won't blow anyone away. 6/10.

Solid brown ale
Just kegged and carbonated this, it's a solid brew. I get notes of caramel, chocolate and coffee on the palate. Balance is more on the malt side, very nice change of pace from the beer=IPA millennial logic. Highly recommended brown ale. I'll try it again come fall.

If you like a well balanced Brown Ale then here it is! I make put about 11.5 gal in (2) 6 gal glass carboys buying (2) 5 gal kits. Pulled 4.5% out of it and the flavor is great! 10 gal in the keg and I just finished the 3/4 gal flat that didn't fit in the keg... I could drink this out of a pail! ...and as always you can't beat the packaging or customer service from nowhere! This will Definitely be in my brew rotation.
