Description

Perfect size for siphoning or bottling from a gallon jug.  Takes 5/16" tubing (see YMAN section below).

Instructions:

  1. Sanitize and rinse your Auto Siphon.
  2. Get the inner tube gasket and the outer tube wet.
  3. Attach the curved siphon to a hose.
  4. Submerge the end of Auto Siphon into your container.
  5. If bottling directly, attach the correct bottle for the tubing you are using and place it inside your bottle wand. Otherwise place the the tubing into the container you're racking to.
  6. Pull the inner tube up until the liquid fills the tube.
  7. Pump the inner tube down and siphon will begin.
  8. Pull out the inner tube and sanitize your Auto Siphon for storage.

How wide is the widest part of the outside pump for the siphon? I have very narrow carboy necks.

BEST ANSWER: The widest part of the Auto siphon mini is approximately 15/16 inch (24 mm). If your carboy necks are larger than an inch wide, they should accommodate the Auto-siphon mini.

Takes so much hassle out of siphoning...
This simple pump-type auto siphon works really nicely. I didn't exactly use this one, but a larger one on a 3-gallon carbon. Gets the siphon going with only 2-3 pumps of the plunger! I'll actually be using this one on some 1-gallon jugs when racking time comes for them. Worth the bucks!
