Description

The newest addition to the Torpedo Keg arsenal! This ball lock keg has the same great features and superior quality as its predecessors, and will allow large-scale homebrewers to fit their entire batch into a single keg. These kegs are laser welded by an ISO certified commercial keg manufacturer, so you won't find any nooks or crannies for contaminants to hide. Made with rolled stainless steel handles that are comfortable to grab. "In" and "Out" are etched near the keg posts for a quick and mistake-free set up when connecting lines in a refrigerator or kegerator. The 10 and 15 gallon kegs can be stacked on top of each other with ball lock fittings still attached.

Considering the price and quality, this Torpedo Keg is an amazing value!

My 7 gallon fermenter overflows all the time. Also presurized ferment and oxygen free transfer will be good.

I make 10 gal batches and currently use 2 coneys. This will allow me to keg the whole batch in one and free up a tap. Great looking product!

I have a marks keg washer will this be able to be cleaned on it or how do you clean yours?
MATTHEW R ELLIS on Apr 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: You can absolutely use the Marks Keg and Carboy washer to wash this keg. It's a little larger so it may be a tad harder to balance, but there should be no problem if you keep an eye on it.
What is the difference between the plastic disconnects and the “premium” plastic disconnects?

Do these come pre-sanitized? How much cleaning is necessary or recommended before first use?
ryker jones on Jun 20, 2022
BEST ANSWER: These do not come sanitized nor pressurized. We recommend doing a full clean on these as you would after using it for a batch. Please clean it thoroughly with a PBW-type cleaner, and an acid based sanitizer before use. Cheers!
What is the total height of two stacked? It looks like the bottom keg has a recess to receive the top.
diego quiles on Jun 28, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It does, but only about 1-1.5".
They lock in pretty nicely, but you won't save a ton of space if that is your concern.

Worth the investment.
I love these kegs. I purchased 2 for pressure fermentation. Never had a single issue with seals or leaks. I use a cip spray ball connected to a pond pump in a bucket with PBW for cleaning.

Spund without breaking the bank.
Purchased this to use as a pressure capabale fermenter. I would love to have a concial unitank, but my brew space is a unheated garage, and use a deep freezer for a temperature controlled chamber to park my beers.

Also, combined this with a floating dip tube. Was able to spund a lager, cold crash, and rack fully carbonated beer to a serving keg.

While not as easy as a bucket to clean, this keg will fit on a Mark II keg washer.

Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. I'll pick up a second one.

Trouble sealing
Washed and sanitized both kegs then filled with beer. Tried to pressurize but the corny lids kept leaking. Had to use my old 5 gallon lids to make it work. Both lids on my new torpedo did the same thing.

Torpedo 10 gal keg
Great quality. 10 gallon keg + 10 gallon batches = 1 keg to clean and 1 keg to transfer.

Solid keg
I purchased this keg to ferment 5 gal batches of homebrew. The build quality is excellent and the size is great because it fits in my fermentation fridge. Haven't had the chance to brew with it yet but I expect that closed transfers will up my ipa game.
