How do you use Blue rock candy and does it turn the beer blue?

BEST ANSWER: You add it to the end of the boil for a little more sugar and a "raspberry" flavor. This comes in the "Walter Wheat" recipe kit which I have made a few times. Some comments said it didn't add much flavor so I always get an additional pack. It doesn't turn the beer blue, but does add a hint of raspberry. I use Munich Wheat ale yeast with that recipe and it is one of my favorites.

I put 2oz of the blue rock candy in the boil at the last five minutes. It turned beer partially greenish during fermentation but the final beer was a good color. Turned out well

dosen't make the beer blue. adds a a hint of raspberry flavor and will bump the abv up. toss it in 5 minutes before flame out.
