The BrewBuilt™ Boil Vigor Controller allows you to control the current of 208-240V heating elements up to 30 amps. Perfect for dialing down a boil or adjusting the heat input to a still wash pot. Features industrial-style power switch, dial knob, and digital display mounted on a splash resistant stainless steel enclosure. Precut mounting holes for attaching the controller to a brew stand or mounting on the wall. L6-30 connections with 4 ft. cords on either end.

The controller uses an oversized SSR with a very large fan cooled heatsink for better reliability. It includes a contactor to fully shut off both legs when you throw the power switch, which makes the free end of the cord safer when the element is not plugged in. The display gives you a reading of the actual current being consumed by your element in Amps.

Max Current Rating of 240V / 30 Amps.

bent/bowed body
Appears to function properly, but QC for the construction needs work. The bracket on the back came bent pretty badly. I was able to fix that. But the face/panel has a very visible bowing on it. The HLT controller I bought (also a BrewBuilt) didn't have either issue. I really don't want to have to take the face apart in order to make it flat (as it should have been on arrival).
