Of-flavors Definitely Identifiable...
A little pricey for a subset of the off-flavor concentrates. Quantity was enough for mixing and distribution amongst our 15 homebrew club members. Our club is working towards developing BJCP judges. The off-flavors kits is part of the process to get us there.

Let down...
Our homebrew club bought this and followed the directions to the letter and were a little disappointed with the experience. The off flavors were barely noticeable in the taste but more noticeable in the aroma but still not very noticeable overall, making a much anticipated club experience a let down. If I did this again, I'd cut the amount of beer in half to 3/4 the recommended volume to get a more noticeable experience.

Works great
Works as advertised. Had a meet up with some local homebrewers and used the kit to explain the most common flaws. Don't know if the manufacturer reads these, but my only "would like" regarding the kit is the contamination mix, I'd like for it to be lactic acid with 2-ethyl fenchol (sour and earthy) which in my, admittedly limited experience, is more prevalent than acetic/diacetyl producing infections.

A couple of observations: we had a bit of trouble with some people not detecting the DMS and 3-methyl-2-butene-thiol, but that's because they're pretty prevalent in our local "macro" brews (Guatemala), that's not really a problem with the product.

I'm pretty pleased with the results and the homebrewers had a blast while learning how to tell where they might be messing up. All in all, a good experience.
