Description

Also called Priming Sugar and used for bottling beer. Priming is adding sugar just before bottling or kegging. The yeast consume the sugar in the bottle thereby creating carbonation. Corn Sugar is also the common name for dextrose.

Which sugar is better dextrose or cane for making wine ?
FRITZIE DELINCE on Nov 2, 2023
BEST ANSWER: No expert, but it probably depends on what you are doing. If it's for fermentation then I don't think it matters. If fermentation is complete it's all alcohol and co2 in the end. Though I hear cane sugar is slower because it is harder for the yeast to breakdown. If you want it for back sweetening then you will get different sweetness profiles.
Is this glucose anhydrous or monohydrate?

Perfect for boosting alcohol nd carbonating
Sometimes I add 1/2 a lb or so during fermentation to get a bit more ABV. Works great at carbonating beer durring bottling time.

Yeast-approved. Yeast-endorsed. Yeast-consumed.
It’s sugar! Made from corn! While I haven’t personally sampled it, the yeast gave it an enthusiastic (albeit proverbial) two thumbs up!
Used in a Mangrove Jack’s Cider kit, finished out clean and dry.
