Description

KegLand has developed the world's most compact mini digital gauge with backlight illumination. This very compact design retains high accuracy while still meeting the desirable small form factor.  This meets the growing need as mini keg systems, mini regulators and other more compact keg dispensing solutions are required.

Traditional analog gauges require a small capillary mechanism where a small pipe expands and unravels under pressure. This in turn drives a mechanical cog to rotate the gauge needle.  This age-old technique works quite well especially in large gauges but as this mechanism is manufactured smaller and smaller a tradeoff between accuracy and size becomes the issue.  With very small gauges such as a 27mm x 27mm Mini Gauge, it's difficult to make them better than 10% accuracy due to the physical constraints of the mechanical components.

Compatible With:

Specifications:

  • Backlight Illumination: Hold yellow button for 3-5 seconds
  • Battery Life: More than 2 years (using the mini gauge once a day)
  • Battery Type: CR2032
  • Auto Battery Saver: automatically turns off after 15 sec
  • Size: 27mm x 27mm (1" x 1")
  • Radial O-ring Stem: 7.8mm Bore

Please note: This gauge is not suitable for measuring pressure of liquids.  It is only for measuring gas pressure.  If liquid gets into the pressure transducer it will damage the gauge.

For analog pressure gauges that are compatible with liquid, see below:

Do I have to remove the two nuts on the back of the gauge to install them into the mini regulators in place of the analog gauge?
Barry A on Nov 2, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Yes you actually need to remove the nuts and the screws that come with these. Use the same screws from the analog gauges to install these
Will this work well in the fridge at around 35deg F?
Ryan A on Aug 8, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will work fine. But depending on the angle of view, it mind be difficult to read. Mount it so you can view it as close as possible to straight on. You may need a flashlight to assist with reading if the angle is too much.
Can I calibrate this? It reads 4 PSI lower than my three large traditional gauges.
Graham H on Nov 2, 2023
BEST ANSWER: I don't recommend this.
How do I remove the analog gauge from my V2? I removed the two screws on the gauge side of the V2, but all that I can get off is the black bezel and the integrated clear round window. The analog gauge is held firmly in its place. I don't want to pull on anything I shouldn't!

Duotight BlowTie 2 | Diaphragm Spunding Valve | Built-In Pressure Gauge | 0-15 PSI | 8 mm Duotight
BEST ANSWER: Remove the 2 screws and with the tip of them or with some other pointed tool that you can enter through the screw holes and using a little leverage you remove both corners at the same time. You must be firm, apply a little force but not too much so as not to break it.
What temperature range will these work in? May keep in freezer
Peter Kraemer on Feb 14, 2023
BEST ANSWER: I haven't used it below 34°F and no more than for two weeks. Didn't have any problems. I didn't check out if the cold changes the accuracy in any way.

display died after the first use
The display section died after the first use. It still works in general, but the readings are not very readable.

Perfect Upgrade
I wanted to update my analog sounding valve with a digital. This was the perfect replacement part. Product came shipped in a rather large box given it's 1" package size. IMO it could have been shipped in a much smaller pkg.

Doesn’t fit…
What seemed like/should have been a relatively easy straight forward gauge swap, turned into a 2 hour disaster. In my first attempt I couldn’t even get the digital gauge started in the 360 regulator body so I used a dremel tool to smooth and round the sharp edges of the regulator and added keg lube for lubrication. On my second attempt, I got the gauge about halfway installed (with a lot of force) before I had to pry it back out with a screwdriver taking extra caution not to damage the thing. Still, I ended up tearing the yellow gasket a bit in the process. After more sanding and keg lube I tried again. This time I was able to push it in far enough to get the holding screws started (again, using all the strength in my hands) only for one of the two screws to not line up properly. At this point I am bleeding, my fingertips are raw, and this thing isn’t coming back out unless it’s in pieces. What’s more, the original analogue gauge now reads 10psi all the time now so even if I did want to put it back in it would be worthless too.

Digital Mini Pressure Gauge (0-90 psi)
The units are so small that reading them is a challenge. I will move them from the wall of the fridge closer to the keg so I can rotate for better visibility. Hope it works, If not it was a waste of money.

Decent - don't work inside keezer
I got these to replace the default 60 psi gauges that are useless. These are better but not great. They take a second or two to read the pressure, which makes it difficult to dial in an exact pressure. Also note that they don't screw into the regulator, they just push in. They are really hard to remove if you want to change the orientation and you basically have to pry them out of the regulator body with a screwdriver. Also, the display doesn't work when cold so these will not work if you have your regulators mounted inside your keezer.

They leak CO2
I had 8 of these installed for about 5 weeks. They didn't seem to leak the first week or 2, but I may not have noticed. Then they started to leak more and more CO2. I checked all other possible connections in my keezer for a leak, found nothing. Swapped out these gauge with the original, analog gauges, and the CO2 leak stopped.

Since these gauges are electronic, I couldn't submerge them in water to see the leak 100%, I also didn't want to spray them with star san, for fear of damaging the components. So I never actually saw CO2 bubbles leaking out, but changing these gauges out solved my issue.
