Description

A great bottle filler for the small-scale winemaker. Through the use of a vacuum pump, the Enolmatic filler automatically starts a siphon and automatically shuts off when the bottle is filled to the perfect height. The vacuum also serves to evacuate most of the oxygen from your bottle. The fill rate is fast - allowing you to bottle up to 180 bottles per hour.

The Enolmatic creates a vacuum that sucks the wine directly from your fermenter, storage tank, or barrel, which can be located up to 13 feet below the Enolmatic. No need to start a siphon or to have to pump or move your wine above your filling machine.

Fill speed can be adjusted allowing you to bottle at your preferred pace. While the filler is in operation wine is not allowed back into the storage tank or barrel due to a one-way valve located in the fill head. The small amount of excess wine runs into a collection reservoir. The fill height can be adjusted and is designed to be used with any size or type of bottle.

The Enolmatic has a continuous duty cycle, meaning it can run non-stop and is constructed entirely from food-grade materials. Simply run water through the system to clean out the lines. The reservoir for excess overfill can be rinsed out or ran through the dishwasher.

Includes:
Filling Unit with Overflow Reservoir
5ft. of 1/2"ID Feeder Line
Collapsible 1/2" racking cane for intake, helps leave the lees behind

Does this work in tandem with the Inline Filtration system?
Brendan on Apr 26, 2023
It looks like the way this filler works there would be a lot of splashing and aerating of wine as it enters bottle. Is that true?
KENNETH PRATT on Oct 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It’s a vacuum and it’s sucking the air out of the bottle before liquid enters.
Does this work if it's placed about 4 feet higher than the tanks?
Andrew Barr on Apr 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The vacuum pump on this filler should work at that height above the tank. We've frequently used it at 2-3 feet above the source with no issues.

Effort saver
Purchased this a couple of years ago. Been using it ever since. No more bottle filling at floor level with a siphon bottle filler. (I ain't getting any younger) My wine making partners have a hard time keeping up with me supplying bottles to fill, corking and arranging bottles. What used to be in all afternoon/evening of bottling, is now a couple of hours and clean up is a breeze. More time to enjoy the fruits of our sweat equity.

Enolmatic bottle filler
This is a great piece of equipment. Have used gravity feed bottlers and fermentors spigots to bottle for years, but they are both work. This system takes the work out, once the fill height is set, filling is simple, easy and fast. Love it.

Performs as advertised
This is a small batch bottling machine. We use this when bottling 50 gallon or smaller batches of wine. As a small winery that produces many different styles, we use this when bottling smaller runs of our sweet or white wines. After plate and frame filtering to .45 microns, we then absolute filter to .45 and then tandem filter to .22 micron at bottling. This unit works fine for our two person bottling team, and we can bottle, cork, cap and label 25-30 cases in s few hours. Fill level is fairly consistent, and tkes a little getting used to. With sweeter wines, the flow is somewhat reduced. Overall, a good choice for this application.

Good product
I was asked by a friend my thoughts on the bottler and thought I'd post it here as well.

It?s not cheap unfortunately, but it does work quite well. But, not perfect. Using it, we hardly spill a drop, literally. It functions super clean. It takes some adjustment per the instructions to tune the device to the size of the bottle being used. But once that is set in, and you use the same size bottles, then the bottling hums along. We are in transition of moving from our used bottle collection to purchased bottles. Used bottles vary in size both in height, length of neck and width of opening. All of these factors affect the efficacy of the fill. Ultimately, when all the work is done, you want an ullage that is exactly right (about 1/2 inch). This also means that you have sized the cork to the bottle fill as well as tested how deep the cork is pushed into the bottle by the corker (it should be flush). Do a couple of tests before going into full production?. My guess is that we filled a bottle about every 1 minute. Adjust the volume too fast and the wine foams and too slow, well you just get older waiting for the fill.

Where the device falls a bit short is that it doesn?t fill exactly the correct amount. It could be due to a number of factors as mentioned above, or my not adjusting the unit correctly or too fast a fill rate or_? This was reported in a review by another user as well. So, we find that most bottles need a few mm more wine or a few mm less. We have a process for this! We have a template on a piece of paper to where the exact fill level is. We then hold up the filled bottle to the template and make a judgement as whether to add or remove a little. We then use a pipette and add or remove wine. It doesn?t take too long, maybe one bottle every 30 seconds, and 40% of the bottles are perfect and don?t need attention.

All in all a great device the times we?ve used it and so far and we can do several hundred bottles without getting tired or any issues. (corking is real work though). But, it?s not the commercial level filler I was dreaming about due to the fact we have to go back and tweak the ullage. Still, it?s way better than doing the fill by hand.

Good, not perfect
This is a good and convenient way to bottle small batches of wine. But it's not perfect. I have found myself continually adjusting the fill level throughout a batch of 12 to 15 cases of wine. It might fill 2 to 5 bottles perfectly, but beyond that it needs to be reset.

Would I buy it again? Probably. But mostly because cheaper fillers are not good and more expensive fillers are...well...more expensive.

Would I recommend it to others? Yes, as long as they understand its limitations and quirks.

Very happy with the Enolmatic
My bottler fills about 1500 bottles a year. 120-200 per bottling day. Works quickly and reliably. I just bought my second machine. My first was purchased used, and abused. I was able to get 7 years out of it. Keep it clean and hand wash only. The dishwasher will damage the filler head and overflow canister. I keep a spare overflow canister on hand. It is brittle and if you drop it your bottling day is over. Overall i'm very happy with this product. I have found it easy to bottle quickly and keep sanitary conditions.

Outstanding bottle filler for home brewers!!!
I purchased this because I typically bottle a few kits at a time and tired of using the gravity fed type of filler. Easy to use, 15 minutes to understand and set up. Did over 90 bottles in less than 45 minutes and LOVE it. No fuss, no mess, two person operation was effortless. This is a must have product for people who make multiple kits at a time. I typically have 10-12 kits in flight at any given time and bottle in bulk. If you have a Thermocapsular and use it for caps, you know how ier the right piece of equipment can make the process so much easier. I have friends who also do wine kits and like to use my "equipment" ... they are gonna love this unit!
