Can this be used with any Corny keg that uses a dip tube?
Edmond Flores on Nov 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Edmond, correct! you'd just replace the existing dip tube with the 3" Stainless Dip Tube.
Can I buy the 3” dip tube separately?
Ryan Schmich on Nov 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Ryan, the dip tube is not sold separately.

The Miracle Buoy
It just makes too much sense. Especially for anxious homebrewers who want to see how their beer is shaping up in the keg. No more pulling sediment from the bottom, just clear beer from the top. I'm on my second keg using this and I'm absolutely sold. I haven't tried it in conjunction with a stainless mesh hop filter canister yet, so I'm curious how that would go. Also, the weld that holds the loop on the ball looks decent, but small enough to make me think, handle with care. Hope this serves me for many kegs.

Great product, couple of tips
I really like this and it works exactly as intended. Pulling clear beer within days as opposed to weeks.

Couple of tips for new users--do not try and add this to a keg of beer that is already carbonated. The ball will float wrong and the tube will not be submerged in liquid. At least that's what happened to me.

Lastly, I would recommend tightening your post on to the metal liquid out tube before you attach the plastic tubing to it. If you attach the plastic tubing first, when you screw on the post it will get twisted and not work.

Otherwise, this product is great when used properly!

Excellent option for clear beer!
I started fermenting and serving from the same keg. For my first few kegs, I bent the dip tube so that it was about an inch from the bottom of the keg so that it wouldn't suck up all of the trub. Unfortunately, even after about 10 pints, I was still getting a ton of sediment in each pour.

This arrived today, and I put it in one of my 3/4 full corny kegs. The ball floated, and the dip tube submerged. It took a little bit of finagling to install it (it will be much easier when I install it before fermenting, when I can tilt the keg and not worry about messing up the beer). An hour later I pulled a pint, and it was clear!
