The hose barb quick disconnect shank is too long for the Forge Fit disconnect female QD what do you recommend?

BEST ANSWER: At one time I had 3 of these and I was only able to force one of my generic male QDs to connect. I ended up returning all of them. Unfortunately MoreBeer doesn't seem to sell the Forge Fit male QDs. I ended up using either TC to NPT type connections (and then used regular NPT QDs) or switched to a barb-TC connection on my hose.

Assuming you aren’t using forge fit to forge fit connections- I found that with a little more force I was able to connect my generic qd to the female forgefit tc
