Great item...when they send the correct one
I try to get the ones without the shut-off valve and I typically remove the cross piece inside to reduce grain/hops plugging. But the last two times I've ordered this item from MoreBeer, they have shipped the wrong item (sent the one with shut-off valve inside) or 501-I/J. The last time, they even sent a 3/8" barb size (customer service was emphatic that they don't even stock 3/8" size and I said, I understand, but that's what I got). Sent pictures compared to correct one's I've gotten in the past. They confirmed and did a quick inventory check and said, "Yup...you're right...our supplier must have messed something up and we are trying to correct our own inventory". Ultimately they made it right, but it was a long arduous process. Hope they fix it again...sigh.
