Does not sit level
Good size, graduated and has a spout in case you want to pour a small sample. But DOES NOT SIT LEVEL! This makes it incredibly hard to get an accurate reading. I ordered two of them and neither is level.

Sticker is a problem
The cylinder is clear and a good height for an SG bulb. The red base is threaded on so it is stable and secure. A drawback, however is the paper inventory label which is placed right at the top where you need to see thru the tube to read your SG bulb. The sticker has to be removed with goo-gone or some other chemical I’d rather not use on my winemaking equipment. Nice design, made faulty by poor choice of labeling.

Better plastic
Seems to be a better kind of plastic. I definitely wouldn't buy a glass test jar as this one gets knocked around a bit. I use it at least twice a week for all the different fermentations I have going.

Mine has a small crack within the base apparently- if I leave fluids in it for very long (more than a minute) it leaks out of the base slowly.

Perfect for me
For small batch it is the perfect size, for me. Don't have to put too much fluid, just enough space in the thing to try and get the hydro from sticking to the sides.
