The fact that these will now support 4 Slimline Torpedo kegs helped synch the deal. The fact that the prebuilt one was not available with flow control faucets or with flexibility of traditional lines drove me to a build-my-own solution.

BEST ANSWER:This will cool to 70F and hold that temp. If your ambient temp is cooler than this, you’ll need a solution that can heat he fermentation vessel.

BEST ANSWER:You will need to buy a tower to go with it which will come with all the fittings and hoses but it did not come with the screws to mount it in my case. You need four 10-32 by half inch screws.
You will also need faucets and a CO2 tank. Quick disconnect fittings for your kegs if you don't already have them. That should be it.
I had to dip the ends of my tubing into boiling water to soften them so I could get barbed connectors in. The supplied tubing is a very small ID and not very flexible. But you need it in order to connect to the faucet shanks which use their supplied specialty fittings.

If you are using it for homebrewing I would suggest a full array Duotight Fittings and EVA Barrier Tubing for both the tower and the CO2 lines. Using Carbonation and Line Cleaning Ball Lock Caps to connect the CO2 to the exterior side of the Kegerator allows you to quickly utilize the onboard CO2 talk for closed loop transfers applications as well as the ability to quick carbonate kegs before they go into the Kegerator.
It depends on what type of keg you plan to connect to it. For mine I am using Pin-Lock Corny Kegs. So I cut off the factory connectors and added some quick disconnects. You'll obviously need a CO2 tank as well. I also went with a CO2 3-Way manifold so I could shut off a specific line as there are times I don't have three kegs goings at once.
Brian, I use mine as-is as a temp controlled fermenting fridge. It's thermostat's good enough. If you're looking to set it up as a kegerator, you'll need their draft tower (Intertap faucets are great), a beer line cleaning kit, and a trip tray since one's not build in. That should do it. Cheers, Dan
This is a great kegerator, I own 2 of them. It comes with a good dual regulator you’ll want to add a tap tower; faucet & handles as well as gas line & CO2 tank. While you’re at it purchase slim line torpedo kegs 4 fit super great in this Komos V2. Cheers
It's been a. while, but I believe you'll need to purchase a tower, spout(s) if tower doesn't come with one/them, beverage tubing, keg coupler, C02 gauge, C02 tank, gas line, appropriately sized hose clamps, a keg(s).
BEST ANSWER:There isn't a good way straight out of the box and I would avoid screwing anything directly into the walls of the unit. The cooling coils are built into the side walls and you could easily puncture one and render it worthless. I mounted my secondary regulators to a sheet of plastic that's fixed to the interior with a lot of VHB adhesive tape. I've also seen someone use a piece of plywood as a mount that they fixed to a side wall with liquid nails. But like the other answer mentions, if you're planning on run four kegs there's not a lot of spare room. I only keep three in mine and I was able to fit everything pretty comfortably.

There is no specifically designated place for a CO2 tank/regulator/gas manifold inside the unit. However, if you are storing less than 4 5-gallon corny kegs in the unit there is plenty of room to make your own arrangements for these items inside.
You might screw it too the wall but there is no dedicated space. My manifold is just loose. It's pretty crowded in there with four Slim Line Torpedoes and I find being able to move it around helpful.
I assume you are talking about a gas manifold. Not really other than taking a chance and drilling through the plastic liner and hoping that you don't hit a cooling line.
BEST ANSWER:I have been able to fit 2 sixtels with sankey D tap from local breweries at once, while having a corny keg with cold brew coffee at the same time. I’ve read that 4 corny kegs are possible, but it seems that it would be quite a squeeze. 3 at once is manageable. I’m not sure how much larger a 1/4 keg is, and would not be surprised if it only allowed 1 additional corny. Overall, a great fridge. I keep my gas cylinders, nitrogen, co2, and beer gas blend cylinders outside of the fridge

The depth available is only 17-1/2 inches so you cannot get four 9" diameter corny kegs in it. As long as you have two slim kegs at 8-1/2 in diameter, you can get four kegs in the thing. The other two can be 9 in.
After removing a small wire basket in the top left side of the refrigerator You can actually fit three cronies in this thing,The tower fan is really nice as well.. totally satisfied with the kegerator
BEST ANSWER:Yes. The Cobra draft tower is narrower than the stock draft tower, so the install should be very simple and easy. If anything you may have to fashion an insert into the existing hole to maintain stability in the new tower.

BEST ANSWER:There is nothing wrong with the unit, it simply does not have automatic defrost. The cooler plate should have some frost on it, just not a large build up. If you find frost building up, it is best to do a manual defrost by increasing your temperature intermitantly (I normally do it between kegs, raising the temperature to 48-52F).

BEST ANSWER:Hi Raleigh - It's hard to say exactly if the keg will fit in this kegerator. If you take a look at the kegerator's product page, it will have a list of which kegs will fit (and how many). The kegs that are listed will have their dimensions listed on their individual product pages. If the Coors Banquet keg is similar to the dimensions listed, then it will fit.

Does anyone else have noise issues? The compressor is fairly loud, and every time it (compressor) shuts down, there is a loud pop. Starting to drive the wife nuts.
I would like to store this in my basement and dispense my beer up to the second floor in my house. The distance from the keg to my tap would be about 16 feet and I like my beer ICE COLD (34 degrees or less). Could this do the job?
This unit is an awesome value. The stainless steel design looks great in my home bar. The interior fan is quiet and keeps my draft tower and faucets cold without freezing. The setup was super easy with the Duotight fittings. There's room enough for 4 korny kegs, so I can have a couple on tap and there's still room for lagering another keg. I highly recommend this unit.
Lots of space, can fit 4 corny kegs, too much for me, but 2 kegs with the CO2 all inside is nice, and with the rollers I can move it around for parties in other rooms.
Kegerator arrived 4 days after order, very happy with turn around. This is my second kegerator from more beer, bought the same model about 3 years ago and it stopped cooling, bad compressor. Always made a bunch of funny noises…sounded like it was haunted. Not happy that it went bad so soon, but good customer service response even though their was nothing to replace or repair except buy a new box. I switched to this model so I could have a four tap tower and it holds 4 corny kegs with no room to spare. My old kegerator was a two tap that I gave to my son and it is still going strong after 20 years….different brand. Hope KOMOS got the bugs worked out and this one doesn’t prematurely fail. Love the design and quality of packaging and the box, 4 stars is giving the benefit of the doubt on the longevity of the unit.
Shipping was very fast, and came very well packaged. This kegerator refrigerator only was a perfect replacement for my old kegerator. Its was very cost affective since I could utilize my existing tower & valves. The Komos regulator that comes with the unit is very nice as well.
Great product, clean look, easy set up and plenty of room inside. Does not get and stay as cold as I would like but other than that no complaints so far.
I installed a four tap tower. It's nice to have equipment that was designed to serve beer. It's nice to be able to control the temperature and to not have to worry about humidity. (The chest freezer I converted had enough humidity problems that it became an indoor swimming pool....)
Love this kegerator! I mounted my CO2 gas distributor on the inside back wall using command strips. I bought a carbonation cap that screws on one of the gas ports on the top back of the kegerator, and attached the gas line from my CO2 tank. Four corny kegs fit snugly. I ran 4 beer lines and the fan air hose up through an insulated PVC pipe up to the wall where my tap connections are. My bar is located on the other side of the wall.
With the capacity to store a full Sanke Keg sized fermenter, I use mine for fermenting both 5 gallon batches and 10-11 gallon batches in my Kegmenter. Setting the temperature at 50-52F, it works well for my lagers. Using a pressure set up through the openings on the back, I can attach the spunding valve outside the unit and monitor from there without opening the door.
A standard sized Kegerator that can hold 4 Corney Kegs!
My 7 year old kegerator with a triple tap stopped cooling so I started shopping for a replacement. I have a built in under counter design so I was restricted to exterior dimensions that were no bigger than my old kegerator. I was pleased to find the V2 which can hold 4 Corney Kegs provided you run your CO2 line in from outside. Unfortunately my unit arrived with damage to the plastic top and side. However Morebeer did right by me by issuing a partial credit against the purchase price and I will live with the cosmetic damage. I love the up front digital control and LED temp readout. The unit runs quiet. One design improvement I would suggest would be to add a power button to the front control. The only way to shut it off is to pull the power cord which is not very convenient in a built in installation. The other thing I would add is a solid mounting spot up high on the inside to mount a CO2 multi port manifold. 4 stars due to the rough handling which damaged my unit and lack of a power switch. But overall a good unit competitively priced.
Finally a Kegerator that will hold 4 Corny kegs. Seems well built, gets cold quickly and holds it's temperature. My only complaint is that it's set up for a Komos tower almost exclusively. I had to remove the top, remove the tower adapter, and do some minor grinding to the tunnel to get my tap to fit. With some trial and error (there are very few instructions for this kegerator), and a couple of hours I had my tower fitted.
very premium quality look/feel and quiet operation. Digital controller works great and seems accurate. I had some shipping damage but Morebeer took care of me.
This kegerator is awesome. I am blown away by how quickly it can vary its temp setting. This is perfect for use as a fermenter cooler. I am using carboys and a Blichtman 7 gallon conical low profile to put inside of it. Caveat- the unit did not come with an owner's manual and I had to guess as to how to operate the temperature controls. It would have been too easy just to push the button up or down like my Kegco kegerator. Turns out you need to hold the button down for 3 seconds until it starts blinking and then adjust the temp.
This kegerator has worked out well in creating my own tower. Furthermore MoreBeer has supported me well when other components had issues. I can certainly recommend this kegerator and working with MoreBeer on your own build.
When you want your own build. It’s worked out well.
Love it have 3 1/6th kegs in it keeps temp great the only thing is the exterior sides get hot I mean hot but not a big deal to me because I have it under a counter.
Very pleased with the Komos V2 Kegerator. Holds 4 kegs has 2 option spots to bring in CO2. Very tight fit to bring hoses up the tower would be only negative comment however well worth the purchase and is a great price.
First off this should probably be a 5-star review, but for some reason I thought this kegerator was different than other out there in the marketplace, namely I thought it had an accurate thermostat. I dinged it a star because the need for a separate controller should be specified in the "Perfect for Homebrewers" paragraph. That is not the case, so if you are using it as a homebrew ferment chamber make sure you pick up a Ranco or Inkbird temperature controller...you'll need it, The Komos is great, but it's thermostat is no where near +/- 1 degree and that's the game for fermentation.
I have owned a Perlick and a BeverageAir before, and this ranks up as high, if not higher. It is perfect for residential use because it's so quiet. Quiet as a mouse! Plenty of room for a half barrel plus a few bottles of champagne. Internal circulation fan with built in tower cooler. Holds a keg at 36 degrees F easily. Quality construction, don't hesitate, this is a great buy. Seriously.
