This kit came out amazing! We literally drank the entire 5 gal batch in 2 weeks. I am brewing another batch now. The only disclaimer is that I didn’t follow the recommended mash or fermentation temps. I used Jamil’s Kolsch temps from his book. I mashed at 149 for 90 min and I fermented at 60.

Solid Kolsch Kit
Fermented at 72ºF with Lallbrew Koln Kolsch Yeast and the beer came out very crisp, clear, and clean. Would brew again.

Koffee Kolsch is where it's at!
I brewed this according to recipe, except I added 2.5 oz of whole bean espresso roast for 48 hours after 3 weeks in primary. FANTASTIC! Whole bean doesn't alter the color too much, but adds plenty of coffee aroma. Koffee Kolsch is a must have brew.

This is a really good recipe. I ferment cool at 56 F for 10 days, keg with diecytl rest 2 days at room temp, crash to 38 F, force carb and condition for two more weeks and then enjoy. The longer it conditions, the clearer it gets. Crystal clear after 30 days. Great beer anytime of year.

Perfect summer batch
Beer came out great. But I used US-05 yeast and flavor was more similar to a Blonde Ale. Next time I'll be using Kolsch yeast and try the difference.

Great Kolsch
This was my first kit from Morebeer.com. I like to have a Kolsch on tap in the summer months as a lawnmower beer. I brewed this one as an AG BIAB and it turned out great. Primaried for four weeks and then went into the keg. Had this in the fridge for almost two months before serving. Nice clean flavor and slightly hazy, just like the picture. I will do this one again.
