Description

The KOMOS Kegerator offers a stunning set of features that clearly separate this unit as the most modern kegerator on the market. With more interior space than other models, the KOMOS Kegerator is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo kegs or Pepsi-style Ball Lock Corny kegs. Whether you choose the single, double, triple, or quad tap configuration, you'll receive NukaTap flow control stainless steel faucets, the newest in forward-sealing faucet design. Stainless faucets are a huge upgrade over the chrome-plated brass faucets commonly included with other kegerators, and you'll quickly recognize the quality of a forward-sealing beer faucet compared to the standard taps seen at your local tavern or in-law's mancave. Rather than a chrome plated tower, the NukaTap faucets are mounted to a stainless steel tower that remains cool before, during, and after each pour thanks to a tower fan diverter that recirculates cold air within the kegerator and blows it up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming. From keg to faucet, your beer will pass through EVABarrier draft lines, a premium double-walled tubing designed to protect against beer oxidation. And with Duotight push-to-connect fittings, you'll have your lines connected in a snap with no need to force the tubing over barb fittings or fiddle with hose clamps. Other features you'll love about the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly-efficient cooling capacity so you'll be serving ice cold beer even in the warmest temperatures, extra wide temperature range from 26–82°F, dual gas inlets at the back, aluminum internal floor, rolling casters, and the included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator.

This unit features an extended range digital controller that can adjust internal temperatures from 26 - 82°F. The higher end of this range is really convenient for homebrewers who often want to ferment at temperatures around 70°F. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed.

All kegerators NukaTap faucets to mount on the stainless tower. NukaTap is the newest brand of forward sealing faucets that boast a lower thermal mass for reduced first pour foam. They feature a "nuke-shaped" internal shuttle that is made from TPV, which provides superior laminar flow to further reduce foaming issues. If you prefer all stainless steel components in your beer faucet, we would suggest the kegerator configuration that comes with Intertap faucets. All faucet spout attachments and accessories are cross compatible between Intertap and NukaTap.

The flow control model is a great option for users that often switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. No need to rebalance your lines or play with your regulator settings. Instantly make adjustments as you pour to dial in the flow rate. This is also a super convenient feature for when you want to grab a quick growler on your way out. By dialing back the flow rate, you can gently fill your growler so CO2 stays in solution and your beer doesn't pour flat when it comes time to share. The NukaTap Flow Control faucet is also the first FC model to be fully compatible with the optional self-closing spring

Our kegerators come standard with Duotight fittings and EVABarrier draft tubing. Duotight push-in fittings offer quick connection, a reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing. Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). EVABarrier double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. It's also PVC-free and BPA-free.

The KOMOS kegerator boasts a list of other unique features for a kegerator in this price range, such as the tower fan, included KOMOS CO2 regulator, aluminum floor, rolling casters, and countertop drip tray.

I just got the three tower unit. I was wondering if i needed a manifold in order to run lines to all my kegs. I realized after i got it that i had to put the gas lines in series meaning that i only have one pressure for all gas lines. Also if i don't have a keg on one of the lines, will the gas just leak out or are the inlet attachments only live when attached? Im thinking that i need a three line manifold so that i can cut off the gas line prior to attaching and detaching but there is nothing in the instructions about that. Could use some guidance.
John David Zielinski on Jul 27, 2022
BEST ANSWER: John I had the same question and a manifold would help but is not necessary if you purchased the duo tap adaptors at the time of your kegorator purchase. The adaptors come as a set depending on style when you purchased the kegoratorr. my gas lines do not leak when I disconnect a keg. I have ball lock and sanke style d connections. I usually always have three kegs connected. The flow controls work wonderfully especially if you have different styles of beer that need different carbonation levels. I hope this helps
can you use a regular sanke d coupler in these units? Or do you have to get a low profile sanke?
Christopher Kulesza on Dec 28, 2022
BEST ANSWER: I don’t have one but based on my measurements, I was going to buy a low profile coupler to give a little more workspace. Enter an answer to this question.
Will this hold 2, 1/6 commercial kegs, and one tall quarter keg at the same time?
Larry DAlessandro on Apr 14, 2023
BEST ANSWER: Cannot answer directly on that but will say out of all the home kegerators, this is the best one.

Makes annoying sound when running. Customer service is slow to respond.
When I unboxed the unit, it had a broken part sitting on the floor inside the unit. It was the plastic cover that holds the thermocouple in the right hand wall. I sent picture of broken part along with picture of the thermocouple that was also sitting on the floor. After 4 days of no one responding, I called. CS found the email I sent and after a couple more days they shipped the part. When I received it, it was the wrong part so I emailed again. Again, no response after 8 days so I called again. CS found the email and said they would get back with a status on email. After 1 week with no response, I called again. Now CS says the warehouse is trying to ID the part. They'll get back to me. It's a good thing I found a way to tape the thing to the wall so I could at least use the unit.
The other annoying thing is the noise it makes from circulation of refrigerant. I sent a sound recording to CS and they responded "yup normal". It sounds like wind whistle at the sea coast. Not good. Unit does cool and I like it otherwise.

From someone not easily impressed - I'm impressed
The fact that this was designed with the home brewer in mind is readily apparent - holds 4 kegs, up to 4 taps and great temperature controls. If anything could be improved upon it would be better labeling of the EVABarrier tubing for sizes - it was very difficult to read the size markings with these old eyes and I got the 2 mixed up. Second improvement would be how the tower on the 4 tap version is mounted. If you have the arms of a 10 year old boy you will be ok, outside of that it will be a challenge securing the screws inside the base of the tower. I ended up buying a 20" screwdriver and taped the screws to the driver to screw it in. Even with these two small issues this units deserves 5 stars.......

fantastic Komos kegerator
this kegerator was very easy to set up and assemble. The flow control taps are great especially when different styles of beer are on tap at the same time, simply keep CO2 at a balanced rate for all beers and cut down on foam at the tap. I only wish that the gas line tubs outlets had a foam insert to cut down on the amount of cold air leaving fridge. I used a piece of foam packing that worked well. Also, I home brew and typically use my CO2 tank to force carbonate in a conical fermenter and pressure transfer when kegging bear. I wish a quick connect adaptor was sold as an option to install at the gas port inlet hole. If there is a quick connect sold a drop down selection at time of purchase for different accessories would be helpful
