Tanking samples of carbonated beer from carbonated tanks oftern results in a foamy mess. A pigtail sampling coil provides the necessary restriction in order to pour a clean, accurate sample. This sample valve accessory is perfect for taste testing for proper carbonation levels and dry hop status.

Compatible with the MB 1/4-Turn Sample Valve and the ForgeFit® Sanitary Sample Valve.

Will this work with an Ss Brewtech Unitank or Brite tank?

BEST ANSWER: It really depends on the type of sample port (zwickle) you have on your tank. This will work with what I’ve seen as part of the SS brew tech tank kits but I’m not entirely sure what you’re working with. If your sample port comes out at a 45 degree angle and has a lip at the top of the spout, that is the correct sample port. This will not work with the sample ports that are angled at 90 degrees.
