Description

This RAPT wifi connected temperature controller box will enable you to monitor, track and control heating and cooling devices remotely through the internet. Set complex temperature profiles so the temperature will automatically change over time. The color screen clearly displays temperature, graph of future and past temperature settings and makes it much easier to perform profile temperature steps.

The RAPT app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android, or you can access the RAPT portal from any web browser here.

This plug and play temperature controller box has two clearly marked blue and red power sockets for heating and cooling so you can control a fridge or heating device at the same time to completely monitor and control the temperature.

For untethered probe readings, switch the temp reference to the RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer.

PID Included
This temp controller box comes with PID heating function often used for higher powered devices. This greatly reduces the chance of scorching and will deliver better temperature control with less fluctuation.

Temperature Range
The temperature range of this device will enable you to control devices from -4°F to 248°F (-20°C to 120°C). 

Various Mounting Options
This innovative design enables you to panel mount this controller, mount to a hanging point or hook, mount on top of a fridge or brew system. Simply unscrew the mounting plate and switch the mounting to your preferred orientation.

RAPT WiFi Compatible
This product will connect with the RAPT portal. This portal will enable you to monitor, control and log past temperature and also show a future projection of temperature profiles that you might have running.

BEST ANSWER: Yes you can switch between the two
Can multiple multiple RAPT Pills be connected to a single RAPT Temperature Controller via Bluetooth for tracking fermentation in separate vessels in the same fermentation chamber? Example split 10 gal batch in two different fermenters in the same fridge pitched with different yeasts. I assume the controller will only use 1 of the Pills as the "Temp Probe", but can the Bluetooth signal be beaconed from multiple Pills on one Temp Controller?

Does the RAPT Temperature Controller need to be mounted inside? How resistant to dust, sun, wind, rain, etc? Also what are its dimensions?

A uniquely capable temp controller
The obvious question: Why spent this kind of money on a temp controller when you can get a $40 Inkbird?
Answer: Programmability

I wanted something where I could have very slow, gradual cooling of my lagers. This guy does it well and not sure what else out there can do this at a consumer price point.

Remote access via the web is a nice plus many other bells & whistles to geek out on if that's your thing. I don't care about integration (or lack thereof) with other KegLand products so that's a non-issue.

Software is a bit buggy at times, but is well supported and firmware updates are occasionally rolled out.

If you want to do something more than just hold a fixed temp or cold-crash, this is your unit.

Controller is great, but I cant get a RAPTpill to use all of the features.
The controller works great, BUT, I wouldn't have purchased if I knew that I couldn't order a RAPTpill. They are not sold here in the US and the manufacturer doesn't have any plans to ever sell them here.
There are cheaper controllers out there that work just as good. If you just need something to control your fermentation chamber, SAVE YOUR MONEY and get something half the cost.

Again, controller works great, easy to use, but I cant use half of the great features it has to offer, and I'm a little bothered by it.

Hi Jonathan! Thank you for this feedback. Indeed, you are correct. Unfortunately, we won't have the RAPT pill in the US market any time soon, as Tilt already holds a patent on floating hydrometer devices.
