Description
SaniClean is the low-foam version of Star San. With a contact time of 2-3 minutes it is not as fast as Star San, but works as well. You also have to use twice as much, 2 oz per 5 gallons, for the same effect. However if you are sanitizing a pump, filter, doing a CIP cleaning or simply need a final acid rinse, SaniClean is the right choice. SaniClean is also known as an effective flavor and odor removal solution. Made by the same company that makes Star San and PBW and packaged in the same easy to use container as the 32 oz Star San.

SaniClean is easy on the environment as well: Despite being a very effective acid-based sanitizer at its prescribed concentration, raising the pH well above 3.5 (using simple baking soda or any waste PBW) renders SaniClean inactive as a sanitizer and the raw ingredients actually feed the aerobic bacteria found in septic systems or wastewater treatment facilities!

To Use:
Use 2 oz per 5 gallons of water and allow a contact time of 2 minutes.

This product is waaay better than Star San
I have been using Saniclean for years, and although you use more per 5 Gal - it is well worth it. Foaming was not an issue and goes away quick.
I bought Star San  because I could not get Saniclean at my local shop. (Sorry, More Beer  I was in a pinch and would have ordered it on this site)
I found with Star San - not only does it create more foam, but it stays around - and also seems to leave a residue, which IDK if it effected the taste yet - but that bothers me that it leaves a film. Even if you lower the ratio of Star San, it still leaves a residue. I am sticking with Saniclean.

This is a great sanitizer and does not have the annoying foam that never seems to go away.

Excellent Product
This is my go to sanitizer on brew day. Low foaming and reliable. Have not had any contamination since i started using this product.

Seems to work well.
I like to alternate between using Saniclean and iodophore to keep the bugs from getting used to one or the other. Iodophore is more effective against mold and wild yeast spores but is also harder on equipment.

Both will keep for several days after you mix them...with Saniclean it is a good idea to periodically check the pH to make sure it is low enough for effective sanitation.

Low Foam
I am a big fan of Star San, but love the low foaming quality of Saniclean. Although I don't fear the foam, the visual never sat well with me, so this low foam alternative is brilliant. Mix up with RO water and it will last for quite awhile which is always helpful when you need just bit of sanitizer and don't want to make up a whole batch. I keep mine in a corny keg.

Little to no foam on this one... exactly
This product does exactly what it is supposed to do: sanitize with little foam. Makes cleaning my CFC and my gear easier!

Low foam sanitizer
Great product for sanitizing your corny kegs or beer lines. Low to none foam. I always keep one of these as well as Star-San in my basic equipment.

Great Low Foam Sanitizer!
I use the IO Star Sanitizer for all my low foam needs, like while bottling if I let them soak for a while, but most importantly while I use it in my Keg and Carboy Washer! Star San Foams to much in the washer so the IO is a perfect solutions for sanitizing kegs and carboys in the washer. The IO Star Sanitizer has always worked and never failed even back in the day when I used it for everything, but recently have switch to using Star San Sanitizer for most of my other sanitizing needs now.
