Description

Secondary regulators do not attach directly to CO2 tanks. They are designed to be used inline when you already have our dual gauge CO2 regulator, D1060. A secondary regulator allows you run multiple pressures from one tank of gas. CO2 line from your existing system would attach to secondary. Gas lines coming from the secondary can then be adjusted to different pressures (Pressure coming out of secondary can never be greater than what is coming in). Applications would include situations where you want different levels of carbonation in different beers or you want to run soda at a higher pressure than your beers. All secondaries have wall brackets for mounting. This is to go in line via flexible tubing, not to hard mount on to an existing regulator to make a product such as the D1065. Secondary regulators can be ganged (attached) together.

What are the exact specifications of the input and output fittings? I want to hook this up to the 8mm Duotight fittings and lines that you sell. The existing secondary regulator I have.... the input female hole has LEFT HAND threads. What about this unit? Can it be hooked up to 8mm Duotight lines? How?
Jeffrey Hasterok on Mar 21, 2021
BEST ANSWER: The input threading is a left-hand thread. the output valves are right hand threaded check valves and we do not recommend removing those check valves.
What brand is this? The stock photo looks different than the reviewer's photo.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Brian - The company that fabricates the regulator is Taprite.
Do the shutoffs have check valves built in?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, each ball valve contains a check valve. Each line can be controlled separately.
