Replacement Sodium Hydroxide for the CellarScience® Acid Test Kit (W501CS) or any other acid test kit which uses 0.1N Sodium Hydroxide.

Please Note: This Sodium Hydroxide is 10x stronger than the MT110 product that is used with our MT140 Aeration Oxidation SO2 Test Kit. They are not interchangeable.

Good Size for Short Shelf Life Product

The 4oz. size is very good for home wine makers. Quantities of this size are not generally available from chemical supply houses. This stuff has a 90 day shelf life once it's been opened. It has a 2 year shelf life if unopened. When you are using this at 10ml a crack for acid tests 4oz. can last a while. Depending on your usage buying larger volumes may not be cost effective.
