Description

Featuring a hi-torque DC motor combined with a leveraged gear reduction system that drives a series of billet aluminum pulleys and high inertia rollers make easy work of the toughest wheat and rye malts.

Best Grain Mill.
If you have temperature control on your fermenters, this is the next most significant purchase you can make!
I was hesitant at first because of the price but it is well worth the money. I have hit my estimated OG every time since using this mill. The crush is very easily adjusted and it leaves the husk in tact. Fantastic mill!

In a Class of its Own
I have been using a 3 roller Crankenstein mill for the last few years and got tired of the manual crank. Was looking at options to motorize and instead of spending $300 additional to motorize decided to take the leap and go for the SS Brewtech Grain Mill. The setup was easy and looks like a piece of art. I have never seen such a beautiful output - husk is almost completely intact! Night and day from the best setup on the Crankenstein or any other 'crush' I have seen - perfect! Pricey but it blows away the competition.

Excellent mill
The quality of the milling is the highest, letting an almost complete and untouched husk while the starchy endosperm is cracked in several parts, giving an extremely high extract efficiency yield (78-80%) during mash, excellent filtration.
