For vinyl tubing with 5/16 ID and 9/16 OD would it be better to stuff the tubing into the 1/2 clamp or use the 5/8 clamp? Connection is to a 1/4 barb. Seems like the 5/8 clamp would be too loose.

BEST ANSWER: Since you're cinching down so hard to fit the 1/4" barb I would suggest the 1/2" hose clamp. It will be a pain to get it over the tubing at first, but with some perseverance it should slide on and fit nice and snug.

Best clamps!
It is sometimes difficult to know what size clamps you need because some sites list them for the ID of the tubing. All you need is the OD so these were easy to know the correct ones.
