Works and is very quiet
I'm using this pump to circulate a 25% glycol mixture from an IceMaster 100 through a jacketed unitank, managed by an inkbird controller. It works great, no problems, and the pump is very quiet - much quieter than the glycol chiller itself.

This was sold as a pump suitable for submersion in chilled glycol for circulation. The pump runs fine in water but won't run when chilled down in a cold 50/50 water/glycol mixture.

PMP602 Submersible Pump
The PMP602 Submersible Pump works fine for what it was designed to do. But not for what I'm using it for, because I'm using it for pumping ice cold water out of a freezer that is set at 34 degrees Fahrenheit and into and through a plate chiller. The water flows rather slow, almost too slow. I have to adjust the ball valve from the brew pot line on the plate chiller to slow the wort flowing into the fermentation vessel rather slow to arrive at 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sometimes binds on startup
I bought this pump for use with my DYI glycol chiller. It works sometimes, but sometimes binds on startup. It will pump after powering up a few times, but this is obviously not useful with automatic control. If no one is there to restart, it will stay bound up.

I can not tell exactly the problem, but it seems the tolerances are so loose that it sometimes binds.
