Does anyone know the thread size on the connection? I'm looking to add a QD to it. Thanks

BEST ANSWER: Should be 1/2" MPT. I called and asked if the duotight 9.5MM fitting works (listed as 1/2" BSP) and they said no. I ordered it anyway and it works perfectly fine.
Can this pump handle Glycol temps (28F)?
Jonathan L on Jun 28, 2021
BEST ANSWER: I have used it in Glycol cooling system for grape fermentation temp control at 30-34 degree F. The pump was submerged in the 32 degrees glycol for 7 days. It worked great.
will this work with 165F water?
Scott S on Oct 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: In my experience this pump will overheat and shut off if the water is above room temperature.

Submersible pump
It was used to pump water from an ice bath through my wort chiller. Very effective. Only used one time so far. Hope it has a long life span.
