The Torpedo Cocktail Keg is the ideal vessel for serving pre-mixed cocktails and other concoctions on draft. The corny keg style lid makes it easy to pour in your beverage of choice without having to fuss with removing the spear like with standard commercial sanke kegs. Hook up a D-Style keg coupler to begin carbonating the beverage from the bottom up. These kegs provide the added advantage of fully carbonating the entire cocktail. When making drinks on the fly, carbonation is lost quickly since you're mixing carbonated and still ingredients together. But when served from a fully carbonated keg, you can enjoy the bubbles in your glass for longer!

Draft lines needing some love? The Torpedo Cocktail keg easily doubles as a line cleaning keg. Simply fill with a batch of LLC or BLC to give your bev lines a little TLC.

When you use this to keg a cocktail and connect to a D style coupler does it carbonate and pour all in one? Or do you have to have a different connection to carbonate? How long does it take for it to carbonate if it can do both with only hooking up the D style coupler?

BEST ANSWER: Most stuff (esp wine) will carbonate over time whether you want it to or not. Especially if it's in a bus sloshing around like mine.

Awesome for homebrew sharing
I purchased this cocktail keg to share my homebrew with a friend that has a Sanke kegerator setup. I was able to easily transfer 2+ gallons of my already kegged and carbonated homebrew from my kegerator to this keg. I used ball lock adapters on my keg tap and on my Sanke coupler, along with a spunding valve on the cocktail keg gas inlet to control foaming. Of course I also had to temporarily remove the check valve from my Sanke coupler. Worked like a charm! It should also work well to just put part of the batch in this keg right after fermentation and carbonate in this keg using a balllock adapter on the Sanke coupler or one of the corny lids with a ball vale and carb stone.

It's a little expensive for sharing beer, but I don't like to bottle beer, and it is really the best option I found to easily share half my 5 gallon batches with friends that have kegerators with a Sanke setup and that don't want to mess with their setup. And now I will be able to brew more often, which was my goal, so I am very happy with the purchase!

Bad design- coupler will not lock into place
Coupler will not lock into position because of how the handles are placed. The hose lines prevent it from completely turning and locking into place.
My husband is going to have to cut the metal.
Honestly surprised I have not seen more negative reviews.
Needing it for the weekend and fully expected this to work, and not have to cut the keg that I just paid 160.00 for because of a design flaw.

I contacted customer service and was told someone would contact the next day. Never heard from anyone.

Thank you for your review Brook. It is likely that you got a bad unit of this keg. This error existed in the first batch that we had manufactured. At this time the new batch is on its way, so units shipped from now on ought to have this issue fixed. We apologize for this inconvenience. We trust our CS team was able to take care of the issue in the meantime.

Bad handle positive
The way the handles are positioned. You can’t lock the tap on unless you take your hoses off. That needs to be rethought. I like the cocktail keg at it works great. But I had to take them to metal fabricator and cut some of the metal back from the handles so tap would turn into position
