Description

This blend of three strains creates a clean and neutral fermentation character, making it ideal for use in many different American beer styles. The blend lends complexity to finished beer by exhibiting a crisp, clean lager-like character with accentuated hop flavors and bitterness. A slight amount of sulfur can be produced during peak fermentation.

PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Everything you missed about the vial with the innovation of PurePitch®.

Attenuation: 72-80%
Flocculation: Medium
Alcohol Tolerance: 8-12% ABV
Optimum Fermentation Temp: 68-72°F
Cell Count: 150 Billion

For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.

Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

love this yeast
Makes a Awesome ale that could be mistaken for a lager especially if using noble hops.
admittedly i do make a huge starter to achieve a lager pitching rate. then ferment at 64F for 4 days then raise 1degree F per day to 71F and hold tell ferment is complete, so a longer time in fermenter then some yeasts require, but well worth the wait.
this yeast will clear to brilliant clarity by itself with some time, but you could use Biofine or gelatin to speed clarification.
