Description

Put one feed line into this filler from your fermenter or barrel and fill three bottles at once. Unit comes included with a Siphon Bulb for conveniently starting a siphon from the holding tank to each filler spout. Each bottle fills independently of one another to allow for staggered filling (take one bottle off as another is filling). Fill is initiated when bottle is lowered onto filling spout and locked into place with built-in bottle neck clasp. The flow of liquid will stop automatically when the level of liquid in the bottle reaches the liquid level in the reservoir.  The clasps around each fill head will hold the bottles in place during filling. Spouts feature a unique design that eliminates dripping when bottle is removed. A float valve keeps the wine level constant in the wine reservoir at all times. Each spout fills about two bottles per minute. Built-in drain allows for easy cleaning. All metal parts are made from 304-type stainless steel. Replacement fill spout seals are available. 15L reservoir.

it seems like a great product, but one main reason was the shelf for the bottles to sit on and the other reason is the NO DRIP spouts. also 5 spout vs 3 was very little more money.

Superb bottle filler
Bought this a few years ago and have bottled at least 350 cases with it. It worked like a charm for me, but you have to understand how to use a siphon/gravity filler and set it up properly before you begin.
The first challenge is filling the reservoir to the correct level, approximately the height you want the level for the bottles to be filled.
Then you adjust the bottle tray to get the exact height to match the level of the filled reservoir with the level where you want the wine to be filled in the bottle neck. .
Next you have to start the siphon for each of the fillers. A suction device is included to start the siphon.
Now you are all set up.
The filler will fill 5 bottles to exactly the same level about as fast as you can feed them in. One thing to note is that if you are going real fast, the reservoir may have a lag keeping up. This will result in the level of the reservoir , and your bottles being a bit low. No problem. Just wait 10-15 seconds for everything to equilibrate again.
As I mentioned, the key to success is getting everything properly set up with the filler and your bottling line before you get started. Otherwise you’ll frustrate yourself.
Once started, our group of 5 people could consistently bottle 100 cases of bourdoux bottles in about 3-4 hours.
ONE IMPORTANT CAVEAT: bottling wine is messy no matter what kind of bottle filler you use, so do it in a garage or similar place that can be rinsed down afterward.

No instructions, super hard to keep going, does not auto stop when bottle is filled, a real drag to use.

Response from MoreFlavor
We are sorry to hear about your bad experience with this filler and we thank you for your honest review. I agree that these fillers are tricky to manage. The three spout version is easier, but the 5 spout has a lot going on and easily results in a lot of spills and a frantic bottling day. I personally have used the 3 spout version and eventually figured out that setting the bottle height to match the fill level with the reservoir fill level. Hopefully you can work with it and find a good rhythm to help you bottling. Cheers!
