Description

The Euro 30 is a great versatile winery pump for all around cellar needs.  The sanitary connections are 1.5" TC to allow for easy hook up of hoses, filters, fillers, you name it.  The 2 wheeled cart can make it into tight places in the winery, and scoots out of the way when not needed.  With the included SS Bypass, you can reduce flow rates up to 25%.  SS head and cart mean easy maintenance, and a power switch on the body keeps all necessary controls conveniently accessible.

Works, but beware.
This little pump has done us great service, don't get me wrong. But over the course of it's use, we've replaced the start capacitor six times.

Functionally it's fine for the price. The bypass valve is particularly useful for us (in fact, I'd like this as a standard feature on more expensive flexible impeller pumps). It's compact, and as long as you can wire up the right 240v outlet (and get a hold of the right extension cord or can make your own), it'll do well for you.

However, the electronics are just bad. Use it enough and you'll have to replace capacitors. It is, alas, a well know issue with this brand.

Good pump but loud
Bought this pump 18 months ago and am still happy with it. It is a good intermediate pump to use before you are ready to outlay the money for variable speed model with remote.

PRO's
* good value for the $
* the bypass is a fantastic way to control flow rate and prevent pushing air through the line when it is finished moving wine
* decent flow rate and can fill a barrel quickly enough

CON's
* the seal had a small leak I noticed on the first use
* very loud pump. I wear ear sponge hearing protection

Update on this pump:
As stated earlier, the pump ran very loud. Turns out this was a sign of a failing motor core. The pump motor finally failed last week and a electric motor repair shop confirmed the motor core is damaged and must be replaced.

I feel this pump was bad from day 1 and I was slipped a dodgy piece of equipment. Definitely won't buy a Euro-xx pump again. Waiting to see if MoreWine is going to stand buy the products they sell.

great pump, but be sure
Very useful pump for the $...hope that my pump is repairable. Will burn out some electric components if left on...quiet!
