Description

Made for dry hopping in kegs, the hop bomb is made from 304 stainless steel. The hop bomb fits up to 1 ounce of pellet hops allowing the hops to have enough space to move around for better extraction. The included chain allows it to be suspended from keg lids with internal hooks. See recommended items below for our KEG448 if you need a lid with hook. 

Note: Regular tea infuser balls do not include a stainless steel chain and will rust if you used in your beer.

will a magnet stick to this? thinking of suspending inside a plastic fermenter with a strong magnet on the outside.

BEST ANSWER: I do this through my SS Fermenter, a magnet will NOT stick to the chain itself but it was easy to attach a washer to the chain that a magnet would connect to. The magnet to washer combo has worked out so far for me.
Can 3oz of oak cubes fit inside without issue?

BEST ANSWER: I would not think so. I would recommend a mesh bag.

Good concept however this hop bomb will ope up and spill your hops. Looks good but that's about it.

Don't buy.
It works but is very fragile. Don't fill it too full or the pellets will expand and break the hinge.
