Description

Ever wanted to punch out a few more gallons of wort with your 35L BrewZilla? Maybe you wanted more strike water for a super sticky batch. Maybe you get boil overs a lot and would like a bit of extra protection. Now there's a solution!

The all new 35L BrewZilla Boiler Extension adds 3.1 gallons of headroom. Turn that 9.2G BrewZilla or DigiMash system into a 12.3G behemoth!

The extension kit is also great for distilling! Extend the height of your pot still by attaching one or more boiler extensions.

Compatible with Gen 3 / Gen 4 BrewZillas.

Please Note: The 110V unit may struggle to bring 10+ gallons of wort to boil. Expect longer heating times and a more gentle boil. An insulating jacket is highly recommended if using the 110V model.

Does the recirculation pump reach up far enough to be used with this during the mash? Or is the extension just for sparging?
Rosann Fitzpatrick on Mar 4, 2022
Has anyone figured out an extension or replacement for the recirculation arm (AG475H) to accommodate this extender?

Replacement Recirculation Arm for 35L BrewZilla
Replacement Recirculation Arm for 35L BrewZilla
BEST ANSWER: 1st off, kegland makes one but MoreBeer isn't selling them here yet. In theory, you could make one from a male and female cam lock with hose barbs and some high temperature tubing. You would like need something ridgid to support the entire length from the botto of the Boiler to where the recirculation arm connects to your home made extension. Personally I'm waiting for MoreBeer to get them in, just like I'm waiting for the extended malt pipe made by kegland too. The potential scalding injury from a failure while recirculating not to mention the cost of my time make buying one cheap even if I have to wait.
Can I add 2 extenders to further increase volume to 15.4g?
David Lesher on Dec 21, 2023
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can, but take care to align everything and make sure you use the seal. It will take longer to reach a boil with the expanded volume and you may need to boil longer alleviate DMS as it is likely the boil will not be as vigorous. You will need to use max watts on the 120V version. I have also done this with the 17.1 gallon brewzilla as well - 240V boils just fine but take a bit more time to reach a boil.

Corroded
I ordered one of these and it arrived with heavy corrosion on the bottom. I called customer service and a replacement was sent. The replacement was lightly corroded on both the top and the bottom. This is a significant issue that needs to be resolved.

After scrubbing the extension three times, most of the corrosion is gone.

This is supposed to be new. The boxes are new. Why do the extensions have corrosion on them?

Fits well, no leaks. Only complaint is it bends the latches out a bit, so when you use the lid without the extension it is a loose fit.

Could be better engineered on the lid clamps.
I received the extension in a timely manner no damage to unit. The issue I have is the lid clamps do not clamp the lid tight enough to seal the lid. I had to put between 1/32 tand 1/16 shim under the clamps to get a positive seal for both my fermentation lid with silicone gasket and my still lid also with a silicone gasket. I don’t see any way to adjust the clamps. I will just continue to use shims. Just wish the clamps were better engineered.

makes brewing much easier
Buying this and the larger malt-pipe makes it much easier to mash batches involving more than 11 or 12 pounds of grain. I recommend not using the overflow-pipe at all.
