Lane H on Apr 30, 2018
These are very sturdy bottles that can handle much higher co2 (I sometimes carb my belgians to 5 volumes), they also seem more style appropriate and look classier for my Belgian-style beers. If I'm going to go to the effort to brew a good Belgian, I might as well have the proper glassware.

When do you get these bottles back in stock?
ICON BM on Nov 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello - This product has a PO created, however it has yet to be confirmed. It will likely be a at least two more months.
do these bottles require a bench capper?
Josh Smith on Mar 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can use one of the handheld cappers (red swing type) presuming they have the reversible plates. You'll want to look at the metal parts in the bottom part that grabs the neck of the bottle. They can be difficult to get out but they should be reversible for larger necks. Since they are cheap I have two, one set for each style so I can switch back and forth easily in the same bottling run between bottle styles.
How many vols. can these bottles handle?
valton pichette on Jan 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: According to a document I found from another online retailer of brewing supplies, a 750ml champagne bottle should go up too about 7 vols. That said, I can't even imagine a beer with that level of co2. I recently bottle-conditioned a saison that was around 3.5 vols, using these bottles. It was very highly carbonated, and these bottles had no problem whatsoever.
Can these also be caged and corked ? It looks like it, just want to make sure. I'd like to have the option later on.
Brian Techman on Feb 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes sir. We’ve done both capped and corked. Both worked great.
Do these have punted bottoms, or are they flat?
John Nolte on Jul 2, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The bottoms are flat. At least the ones I bought were. The bottles are heavy and high quality. The only thing I struggled with is fitting them in my floor corker with the capper attachment, because they are so tall. But they are really nice bottles.
