Description

Top hatches are highly useful in any sealed-top tank and must-haves for tanks that will be used for red fermentation. The hatch allows access for making additions, pumping over or punching down, and gives top-down access for cleaning. Foward-set hatches are ideal for tank installations where catwalks run past the front of the tank, for tanks where the hatch will be accessed by a ladder, or where the tank is short enough for the hatch to be reached from the ground. The plumb position of this hatch is ideal for accessing the tank while full, but still allowing the tank to be completely filled, since the rim of the hatch is higher than the apex of the tank ceiling.

Please Note: Purchasing this item installs an optional feature on a Speidel Tank. This item cannot be purchased independently, and must be purchased on the same invoice as the tank it is to be installed on to ensure accurate manufacturing.
