Helps extend the time that the yeast stays cool in transit. Cool temperatures help keep the viability of the yeast higher which in turns leads to faster fermentation start times and better beer. The Insulated shipper helps the ice last much longer, however neither option will ensure your yeast stays cool the entire trip.

The Insulated Shipper option can hold 10 White Labs packages, 3 Wyeast packages, 3 GigaYeast packages, 3 Omega Yeast packages, or 3 Imperial Yeast packages. Check out ICE1 for more information.

NOTE: We highly recommend ordering DRY YEAST during hotter months as your liquid yeast may get warm during the delivery period, even with multiple ice packs included. The insulated mailer offers better protection, but is still not guaranteed.

No need to make a mess in the kitchen measuring out DME, and no need to waste time boiling and cooling before you pitch your yeast. Simply open a can of Propper Starter™, pour it into your flask along with 16 oz of bottled or distilled water, then add your yeast. It's that simple!
