For easy auto siphoning out of a carboy or bucket. Comes with 3/8" cane. It is 24" long in total with a 22.5" by 1" diameter tube. 3/8" tubing must be purchased separately.

  1. Sanitize and rinse your Easy-Siphon.
  2. Get the inner tube gasket and the outer tube wet.
  3. Attach the curved siphon to a hose.
  4. Submerge the end of Easy-Siphon into your container.
  5. If bottling directly, attach the correct bottle for the tubing you are using and place it inside your bottle wand. Otherwise place the the tubing into the container you're racking to.
  6. Pull the inner tube up about 7" until the liquid fills the tube.
  7. Pump the inner tube down and siphon will begin.
  8. Pull out inner tube and sanitize Easy-Siphon for storage.

Hate it
I thru it in the trash and purchased several 6 and 7 gallon clear pet fermenters, with valves, from More Beer, When fermenting, I raise the front, at the valve, with a strip of wood and a rag..By the end of fermentation the trub and yeast are pretty well stuck together at the bottom rear so a hose on the valve right into the keg. When near the bottom, gently tip the fermenter forward until almost all of the beer has drained. No trub. No yeast. I will never use a siphon tube.

An expensive constant necessity some customer service would be appreciated
Indispensable on bottling day. unfortunately I'm on my 3rd because between use they develop cracks and splinter down the length of the outside tube. if anyone knows how to prevent this let me know. As it stands I have to buy one almost every time I need to use one.

Response from MoreFlavor
Hi Daniel - Extensive, intensive cleaning can cause cracking. If your water is too hot, it will wear equipment quicker.

Either the cane isnt 3/8" or the tubing is too large. Either way, it needs a hose clamp
I bought this along with the 3/8" tubing and 3/8" wand hoping since they are sold on this site that they should all go together nicely, but i was mistaken.

Im not sure which dimension wasnt true to size, but when I put the 3/8" tube onto the siponing cane, the tube just slid onto the cane with no resistance and was VERY loose. So much so when I tried to pump the cane to get a siphon going it would either squirt beer out or have air drawn into it. A clamp must be used to create a tight enough seal for it to stop leaking. Very disappointed in the quality.

Response from MoreFlavor
Sometimes it's best to order a size down in tubing to get a good seal on racking canes. Please give us a call at 1-800-600-0033 or email us at info@moreflavor.com so that we can assist you. We are here to help. Cheers!

Works well, but be careful cleaning
A little larger in diameter than the 3/8 inch Auto Siphon, the Easy Siphon works well. However, the first time I cleaned it, I tried to flush some trub out from the end using a hose. I blew out the little valve in the bottom that creates a seal. I then managed to break the little pieces off of the valve trying to re-seat it. MoreBeer replaced right away, due to their second-to-none customer service. Definitely don't flush from the bottom when cleaning, otherwise a good product.
