Description

Get an extremely accurate reading with this rugged bench-top pH meter. It offers the highest accuracy meter, with ATC, featuring a separate temperature probe for temperature readings independent of the electrode. The separate temperature probe allows you to check the temperature before submersing the electrode. Even though the name says "Bench-Top" it can easily be handheld. Temperature reading is in Celsius.


For long term health of your electrode, use our highly recommended pH storage solution MT618.

Does this product come with everything required to properly store and calibrate the meter?

BEST ANSWER: I believe it came with minimal packets of the solutions to calibrate and store. You should plan on buy the additional bottles. They just give you enough to get started.
Do new bulbs need to be changed every so often for accuracy? That’s the only reason to go to another meter

Love this meter!
I started using this on my brewdays and now everything else in my life is just going great! It's like switching insurance but with ph meters.

but really, just the best one out there for home use. right on target every time thanks to this guy.

Don't know how I lived without.
A must for checking PH during all grain mashing. My first running's were well over 6.0, which releases a lot on tannin into my beer.

Buy A Different PH Meter
I purchased this meter and additional calibration solution to dial it in, but after 30-mins I was still unable to calibrate it and continued to get the same error message. After looking into it a lot of people on Amazon had the same problem. I spoke with customer service and 2-weeks later I “should” be receiving a new one as they won’t offer me a refund, which was also a complaint on Amazon. Being as I own a brewery and need to stay on schedule I was forced to buy a new meter. I have a friend who has had good experience with this meter at his brewery, but for me it was a dud and a costly transaction.

Overall good meter.
From the reviews I thought this was going to be a pretty easy to use straight forward piece of equipment. I’ve been brewing for years but never cared too much about my sparge or mash pH. The equipment seems sturdy and well built. It was easy to calibrate after watching a short video online. It would have been helpful if I had known you needed the calibration chemicals but luckily there was a small amount enough for the first calibration. It works pretty decently for room temperature samples but gives crazy readings if you don’t try to cool you water quite a bit. The temp and pH probes are a little clumsy to use. Overall a good meter but takes a bit to get used to
